First day at the new job! :)

 Today was my first day on the job- I had orientation :)

 I finally got hired over at the local Walmart - I've been trying for awhile to get a job- and I'm just soo glad that it's not in fast food, since that's the mostly likely place kids around my age (20 yrs old) tend to get jobs.

I needed to be there at 9 a.m. and I even specifically set my alarm for 7:20 a.m. so I could get around and all that jazz, lol. I must have fallen back asleep after I turned off the alarm clock- and I just HAPPENED to wake up at 9:10!!! I'm so freaking lucky I just randomly woke up then! I rushed and threw my clothes on- and it only took me 5 minutes to get dressed, throw my hair up, and drive to work! (thank god I live so close!) hehe I just ended up telling them I got a flat tire- I lied okay! lol I didn't want to lose my job that quick!

The day went by fast- we mostly just talked, watched videos, and even went on a 'safety tour' to learn where the clean up stations were, were the eye washing stations are, and were all the fire exits are placed. I got hired in on a 'part-time' position -- so I was surprised when I received my schedule and seen that I was scheduled to work for 6 days straight (including today) all being 8-9 hour shifts.

I will still continue to visit the forums- and I  will still continue with my competition- I just might not be on 'as much'. Scores for assignment 8 will be posted sometime on Monday instead of Sunday at midnight. Monday will be my first day off- so bear with me, lol.

Just finished my entry for fashion fever: assignment 2-RUNWAY.

What do you guys think of it?

I got my scores on Fashion Fever today :( Scored 7th. Here is the picture:

I guess it really wasn't 'pretty' but hey- I wasn't going for pretty! lol . I was trying to go a different route then the other contestants.  I'm thinking up some ideas for the next assignment-- but throwing a lot of them out the window :P

Assignment 7 for 'She's Got the Look!' is due tomorrow- and the winner will now get their picture showcased in VSims April issue- the winner will also submit a step-by-step on how they edited their picture with picnik.com. I ended up scrapping the idea that I had for assignment 8. Maybe I'll use it for another assignment- I just felt that it might be another hard assignment- and I don't want to make this competition become work.

On other news- I went to Crazy's blog and watch my first video of Shane Dawson -- then continued to watch 25 other videos of him! Only one word can describe it ..... AMAZING :D Now I totally understand being 'obsessed' with him!

Got a job and all that jazz

Got a call yesterday, I finally got hired in!
It's been a couple years since I worked -- busy getting married and getting our place. But I'm excited! It's only about 2 minutes away from my house, which means I can come home on lunch breaks to play with Bailey :)

It's perfect that I moved the time between assignments from 5 days to 7 days for 'She's Got the Look!'.  This way I'm not rushed for time. I won't probably be on the forums as much - but I'll still make time to blog :P 

But on other news, VSims has agreed to showcase the winning picture of Assignment 7 in their 2nd issue! The winning contestant will have to submit a summary on what all editing they chose for their picture (this assignment they could only edit with picnik), why they chose their entry picture, and their models name- age- and a bio. So, be on the lookout for our winning contestant in VSims April issue!

Assignment 8 for 'She's Got the Look!'

So I'm sitting here today, trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do for Assignment 8 of 'She's Got the Look!' and I'm coming up with ideas- then throwing them out. Oops, been done before, lol. So I think I have came up with the most perfect idea! I'm soo excited!!! :D

Now, I'm going to go on a HUGE cc hunt! Hopefully I don't change my mind on this assignment- I tend to do that a lot. Most assignments usually are changed at least 2-3 times before I post the actual one XD

 Maybe if I decide to keep with this assignment idea- I will post a hint on my blog. :D

Day 2

Gah! I'm so happy! I now have 13 followers -- which is freaking fantastic! :D Being created just last night - I think that is great :) I think I will still work on the layout on this blog, check some really cool gadgets out. Ninjakay had some great bubble wrap on her page :)

I'm going to try to announce the winner of the current assignment on 'She's got the Look!' each week on my blog about 30 minutes before it's posted on the main thread. I'm not going to say every single time I will - because if I get guest judges - I can't promise they will send the scores on time *eye roll* 

Later today I'm going to try to upload some of my favorite pictures I have created for some competitions- Maybe I'll even upload some of my favorite pictures entered in 'She's Got the Look!' :) I really just want to say thank you for all of you that have started following me -- It's really great to get this blog up and running! Well, Hello there!

Hi!

I've been debating for awhile to create a blog- and I've even had the name planned out for awhile, but now I've finally have decided to create it :)

Most people know me from the competition I have created  'She's Got the Look!' . It's my first competition I have created- but I know my way around the sims and modeling section. 'She's Got the Look!' was canceled over a month ago due to divorce seen in my future - but since then me and my husband has reconciled and I have revived my competition.

Within my following blog posts -- expect to see bits of real life, bits of my sim games, and bits of my competition. I'm a wandering soul- so my posts will be random and sometimes completely different. Don't be afraid to comment on my posts- I looove comments! Also, please follow me! I will follow you also :)
